Jenny and Mike Burden

“She is very strong minded, very good at seeing things from two different points of view but once she has made up her mind about an issue, she is difficult to shift…”

Mike Burden meets Jenny—his daughter’s glamorous history teacher—at his sister-in-law’s wedding. Jenny is a paragon who plays violin with a string quartet, sings in the Myringham choir and takes classes in advanced German.

She is also very strong minded, very good at seeing things from two different points of view but once she has made up her mind about an issue, she is difficult to shift…”
